Shipping policy

We take care in ensuring your gemstones reach you safely and securely.

Processing

All gemstones are shipped from Bahrain. Once your order is placed, you may select your preferred shipping method at checkout.

We will contact you within 1–3 business days to confirm your shipping preference and provide a personalized shipping quote. In some cases, certain gemstones may require additional handling or certification before shipment. If this applies, we will notify you within 1–3 business days of your purchase with the updated timeline.

Shipping Methods

We ship worldwide using trusted carriers such as DHL, FedEx, and Malca Amit.
If your country is not listed at checkout, please contact us directly and we will arrange a custom shipment.

Insurance

All shipments include standard carrier insurance. Customers may request additional insurance coverage at their own expense.

Duties & Taxes

International orders may be subject to customs duties, VAT, or import taxes depending on your country’s regulations. These charges are the responsibility of the buyer and are not included in our prices. Gems with Origin is not responsible for delays caused by customs processing.

Risk of Loss

Risk of loss transfers to the customer once the gemstone is dispatched from Bahrain, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Returns & Refunds

At Gems with Origin, we want you to be confident in every gemstone you purchase. Because each gem is unique, we set clear guidelines for returns and refunds.

Returns

  • You may request a return within 14 working days from the date you receive your order.

  • To qualify, the gemstone must be:

    • In its original packaging,

    • In the same condition as delivered,

    • Unused, undamaged, and unaltered.

  • Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs and must insure the return shipment at full value.

  • Gems with Origin is not liable for loss or damage to items during return transit.

Refunds

  • Once your returned gemstone is received and inspected, we will notify you by email.

  • Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 7–14 business days.

  • Refunds will not include any certification fees, shipping charges, customs duties, or taxes paid.

  • If the item is returned damaged or altered, we reserve the right to deny a refund.

Non-Refundable Items

  • Certification fees (if requested before shipment).

  • Shipping costs, customs duties, and import taxes.
